For over 45 years, Chase Security Systems, Inc. has been a pioneer in delivering advanced security safety products, focusing on quality, client satisfaction, and investment protection.
What sets us apart in security protection is our expertise in designing and producing custom steel products that integrate and shield various security system devices. We believe in offering tailored solutions in a world where every project might have unique challenges. This blog delves into our custom design journey, showcasing how we transform your security ideas into tangible protective solutions.
Why Opt for Custom Security Products?
Our clients often come to us with unique requirements, whether for a camera guard, specialty equipment housed within advanced security systems cages, or innovative setups requiring specialized security system guards.
Their equipment may have unique dimensions or specific features that benefit from our products. This custom touch ensures optimal protection and integration, regardless of the installation specifics.
From the need to accommodate specific provisions to catering to unique environments, our approach ensures every requirement is met with precision.
Step 1: Understanding Your Custom Protective Needs
Every custom project at Chase Security Systems, Inc. begins with an in-depth understanding of your security needs. By gathering the specific details of the equipment a customer is looking to protect, we craft a plan ensuring optimal security system protection.
Unlike most manufacturers of security systems guards, we complete all our processes at our in-house facility, enabling us to produce a single prototype. Some clients will purchase this custom prototype to evaluate before placing a bulk order. Often, enough information is available for us to make a workable custom product that meets all of the customer’s needs once it reaches the job site.
Step 2: Designing Your Custom Security Protection Solution
Once we understand your security ideas and business needs, we gather the device specifications and render drawings to illustrate the compatibility between our protective products and your device.
Here’s a glimpse into the primary tools and materials used for prototyping that make our designs a reality:
- Tools: Press brakes, laser cutters, spot welders, and fixtures.
- Materials: Quality materials such as cold rolled and stainless steel or acrylic (when applicable).
After crafting the initial design, it’s sent your way for review, revisions, and approval.
Step 3: Collaboration & Feedback Incorporation
We believe in a collaborative approach. Whether you’re a sales rep unfamiliar with technical details or a project manager with specific requirements, we adapt. With extensive resources from past projects that we can utilize, we often require minimal client information to forge ahead and create a workable solution to meet their customized security system’s needs.
However, we always welcome and integrate feedback. After all, good communication is the cornerstone of outstanding results.
Step 4: Precision and Quality Assurance
Our commitment is precision and efficiency at every stage. We carefully choose materials based on various factors, ensuring our product meets the highest standards.
Transitioning from design to production is often seamless. Many clients are impressed by our efficiency, with plans swiftly moving into production due to our in-house capabilities.
Step 4: Maximizing Security Effectiveness with Testing & QA
Here are the key stages that ensure our products consistently exceed expectations:
Rigorous quality standards in protecting security system devices
Each product’s material type and gauge are carefully chosen based on various factors, including weight, accessibility, environment, and the specific functions of the device it’s designed to protect.
This commitment to quality ensures that every security protective product we produce meets the highest standards.
Transition from custom prototyping to production
After evaluating the prototype to ensure that formed parts fit together comfortably and meet up where necessary, it’s transitioned seamlessly to bulk production.
While some firms have to submit parts to labs for further evaluation and certification, which could take weeks or months before results are available, most of our clients can see a turnaround time of one to two weeks.
This is due to our control over the entire process, as all of our design, prototyping, and manufacturing happen at our in-house facility.
Projects involving high volume and ongoing production of the custom part vary in production time according to the specifics of the client’s request.
Proactive client engagement for custom security products
One of the standout aspects of our process is our proactive engagement with clients. We can often expedite production and have their order in our queue in under a week by gathering all necessary details from our clients early in the process. This dedication to swift, quality service distinguishes Chase Security Systems, Inc. in custom security solutions.
Case Study: Custom Illuminated Access Control Tower Project
One example of how we’ve solved our clients’ security system protection needs was showcased in 2021. A client discovered our illuminated towers online, a feature we’ve showcased since 2009. Their intricate project demanded not just one but several custom designs.
Among their requirements were two designs for pedestrian access control towers and a unique surface-mounted housing to pair a callbox with an instructional plaque. The standout feature? Incorporating backlit illumination to ensure nighttime visibility.
We sketched our initial idea by taking a deep dive into the client’s device specifications, site details, and budget. The design was set after a few tweaks and consultations with the project manager.
Our next challenge was perfecting the illumination. It was vital to ensure a balanced and vivid light output. We struck the right balance by experimenting with various colors and brightness levels.
The final prototype was not just functional but a radiant example of nighttime security. Production swiftly followed, and within weeks, the project transitioned from a web discovery to a tangible, on-site reality.
